As a team, Noah and Erin perform both duet narration (where Noah reads the men's dialogue and narration and Erin reads the women's) and dual POV (where Noah reads whole chapters from the male perspective and Erin reads whole chapters from the female's). They have been recording as a duet team since 2015 and won an Audie for their performance of Renea Mason's Curing Doctor Vincent in 2016.
When they are working on a duet project, they record in the same studio at the same time, using two mics. This allows them to act with each other and gives their work a level of realism that has been loved by their listeners.
Noah and Erin believe that audiobook narration is one of the most intimate kinds of acting there is. Because of this, they prefer to work collaboratively with authors, having communication before the recording process begins, gaining insight from writers into the psychology of their characters. When they begin recording, they put themselves inside the characters' hearts and heads, feeling their way through the story with their emotional antennae. Sometimes they end up sobbing in the booth and sometimes laughing hysterically, but they always strive to find how the author's words and the characters' voices come together to make a wonderful ride.
Erin and Noah are lucky to have several professional relationships with post-production professionals who make sure their work is within specifications, is error free, and sounds great. They are elated to have a great partnership with TyDef Media, who does the bulk of their post production work. CEO, Tyrrell Harrell has been working in the field of Audiobook production for many years. He began his career as an engineer and production assistant in Atlanta. Next, Tyrrell entered New York's production market and worked with a variety of clients creating audiobooks for major publishing houses, working with some of the best known directors and actors in the business. His ability to bring a client's vision to life, has been his greatest asset.

We are authors also!
Noah and Erin had the great pleasure to work with their partner Renea Mason to create The Audiobook Book, an introduction to the process of bringing your dream to fruition for authors and beginning narrators. They now more fully understand what it means to work for months (or longer) on a book, agonize over trying to get it just right, and then send it out into the world where people will either embrace it or use it for fuel.
The experience of writing and working with Renea was a life-changing experience and gave Noah and Erin a whole new appreciation for what authors go through every single day. They are happy to give back, and will make themselves available to speak with authors (even those with whom they are not working) to help them with the audiobook production process. Renea created a "support group" on Facebook where authors and narrators can get their questions answered. Group page.
